A strong theme that I found is that girls want tattoos that have meaning for them. A fast growing trend to reflect this is the selection of short phrases that are tattooed on to the wrist. As one girl told me, my wrist tattoo is a daily reminder to me to live my life according to a principle that I hold more important than any other.
